As the world reels from deepening inequality, political uncertainty, and economic instability, we’re coming together in Austin to chart a different course. Hosted by Economic Security Project, Community Change, and UpTogether, join solution-makers, organizers, media, and policy leaders at Guaranteed Income Now in Austin, Texas. This convening will spotlight bold ideas, shared strategies, and the people leading the way toward freedom, dignity, and economic possibility.

What To Expect

What to Expect:

  • A focus on how guaranteed income meets today’s urgent challenges—from climate resilience to housing stability to the need for economic security in the age of automation and unprecedented transitions.
  • Grounding the cash movement in the deep history of organizing across the South to today’s Texas cash victories, and demonstrating how bold, inclusive economic ideas can take root anywhere. Learning from strong local champions on winning in the South and how to translate regional success into national narratives and advocacy.
  • Stories and strategies from local and national leaders moving policy, pilots, and narratives forward, challenging the current political moment by elevating narratives around deservedness and pushing back against the rollback of the social safety net and the targeting of vulnerable communities.
  • Intentional space for real-life, in-person connection, laughter, collaboration, and genuine partnership. Designed to spark new relationships, cross-state learning, and actionable ideas that will energize the next chapter of the guaranteed income movement.
